Each season Milford Christian
Academy participates in the Pat's Peak ski Program.
The program offers lessons and gives participating parents
an affordable way to participate and join their children
for an awesome family time. The parents' tickets are
greatly reduced to allow them to participate in this
family activity. Skiing is a sport/activity with original
roots in NH. It is also a great social event for the
children to participate in with each other.
We have 5 lessons during the
season under the program, with a bonus day to be used
by the parents/family. We typically ski on Friday's,
due to the late hour and respecting homework etc. Our
lesson time is critical and that begins at 4:30 p.m.
We leave MCA no later than 2:30 p.m. and that gives
an hour to travel, arrive and prepare for the 4:30 p.m.
lesson. We have one hour of instruction and an hour
and one half for free skiing time. The MCA sponsored
program ends at 7:00 p.m. Parents are expected to be
at the mountain to pickup their children promptly. Students
can ski until 10:00 p.m. with parental supervision.
