Tuition at MCA / PDE is broken
down into core curriculum offerings for 5 day program
and the 2 day Homeschool program. Both core curriculum
and enrichment classes are offered through an "a
la carte" menu. The purpose of this approach is
to make Christian School Education affordable for moderate-income
families.
Core curriculum classes that
are selected through the "a la carte" menu
cost $600 per year. Enrichment classes, art, music,
drama, and PE, that meet once a week cost $125 for the
year. Each after school sport has a $50 additional charge.
MCA has made available a number of creative options
of funding these educational choices. Ex. Nascar fundraiser,
Scripts and extra volunteer hours.
Base tuition for the 5 day program
is $3500, or $350 / month for 10 months.
Base tuition for the 2 day program
is $2400, or $240 / month for 10 months.
Books are purchased separately
by the parents for grades 7-12. (see booklist
online, on Academics page)
Book fee for grade 1-5 is $280
per student, payable by July 15th. (purchased by MCA)
All tuition payments are due
the 1st of the month. A late fee of 10% will be assessed
if not received by the 7th. There are no reminders sent
to parents. Please contact us before the 1st of the
month if you anticipate problems with payment. It is
extremely important that parents adhere to timely payments
in order for us to remain fiscally responsible to our
commitments to staff and other service providers.
Parents are required to sign
a commitment document stating that they are in agreement
with the policies of MCA as found in the handbook. The
financial payment statement is part of this agreement.
